James Creek Outfitters, LLC
The
home base for James Creek Outfitters, LLC is a family owned and operated
working ranch. Richard and Evelyn Ott are the second generation
of the Durham family, who have owned the ranch since 1951. The Otts
raise beef cattle and hay.
James
Creek Outfitters takes it's name from the creek running through
the upper part of the property. The ranch was homesteaded in the
1800's by the James family, and is one of the oldest ranches in
the area. Van James was an avid hunter, and he started the 100 plus
year old hunting tradition on the ranch that continues to this day.
The
goal of James Creek Outfitters, LLC is to provide quality, exclusive
elk and mule deer hunting and excellent service. Since James Creek Outfitters, LLC
is family owned and managed, they particularly enjoy family groups,
or a group of friends that want to enjoy a hunting vacation together.
Richard, who has over 30 years experience as a hunting guide, along
with a few other trusted guides, provides the hunting service. Evelyn
continues to provide family style meals, good homemade food, and
lots of it!
The
Ott family makes every effort to provide their clients with a successful
hunt, but they also strive to provide them with a pleasant atmosphere
and an enjoyable experience. |
